Dear Hastings School Families,
We have gotten off to a great start to the new year! The students and teachers came back from the break rested and ready to learn. I'm seeing great teaching and learning in action during my classroom visits.
Thanks to all who participated in the 300 Mittens Project. A total of 563 pairs of mittens were collected! These mittens were distributed to a variety of organizations in town such as Westborough Department of Youth and Family Services, Abby’s House, Friendly House, and the four elementary schools in town.
The district-wide food drive for the Westborough Food Pantry, organized by WHS student Connor Schoen, was a great success! Hastings families and staff collected two truckloads of food! In addition, we raised $66.00 for grocery store gift cards through our “$1.00 Challenge” Thank you for participating! Your generosity is so appreciated.
