Westborough Environmental Action Fair

The Westborough Environmental Action Fair March 14, 1-4 PM, at Westborough High School offers two opportunities for participation by students. Westborough students who were active contributors to the previous fairs, greatly enjoyed the event and were appreciated by all attendees. If you’d like to see what last year’s fair was like, you can learn more and watch a video here.

Exhibitors - students including groups and clubs can develop models or tri-fold displays that discuss environmental issues we face in our daily lives. Our goal is to empower the community with valuable information and resources, encouraging everyone to make positive changes to protect our environment.

Art for Earth Showcase – students create an environmentally themed poster or other artwork to be displayed at the fair. We want visually exciting art that empowers and educates others and encourages climate awareness to inspire environmentally friendly actions.

Hastings School Council - Seeking Parent Members!

What is a School Council?

A school council is a representative advisory group that collaborates in planning for and implementing school improvement. It is a form of site-based management that places the school at the center of planning, goal setting, and budgeting for improvement.

A school council meets regularly to accomplish the following goals:

  • assist in the identification of the educational needs of the students attending the school,
  • adopt educational goals for the school,
  • assist in the review of the annual school budget,
  • formulate an annual school improvement plan

The 2025-2026 School Council is forming for the new year! If you are interested in serving on our council, please write a brief nomination statement and email it to Julia D’Agata at dagataj@westboroughk12.org.
